Traditional home watch services are designed around scheduled checks and maintenance-style tasks. Our clients retain us for something different: judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to act on their behalf when something matters.
Some clients ask us to retrieve sensitive documents from a safe. Others request discreet vetting of a new vendor, background checks on staff, or verification of contractor activity.
At times, we are asked to check on a boat, oversee access to the property, check CCTV/onsite cameras, or provide surveillance when circumstances require it.
The common thread is not the task — it is trust.
Elite, Retainer-Based Service
Many of our clients retain us on a yearly basis, which provides priority scheduling and on-demand availability rather than routine, pre-scheduled visits.
Services are offered on a annual retainer, billed against our standard investigative hourly rate, and are available only to qualified clients in Sarasota, Venice, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, and Manasota Key.
Retainer clients receive preferred access, ensuring availability when matters arise that require discretion, judgment, or immediate attention.
To maintain this level of service, availability is intentionally limited and personally managed by Detective Brooks.
Annual retainers typically range from $6,000–$12,000, depending on scope and availability.

Chris began his law enforcement career in 2003, serving with distinction for 16 years. He graduated from the rigorous 400-hour ILEA training academy and earned his certification, steadily rising through the ranks. Chris served as a Senior Police Officer, Detective, Police Sergeant, and ultimately, Chief of Police.
In 2016, Chris was recognized for assisting the United States Secret Service and the Vice President Mike Pence.
