I am Detective Chris. I am a Sarasota Local, and I bring decades of executive law enforcement and investigative experience to every case. When you retain Brooks Detective Agency, you get me. I handle your intelligence gathering personally, ensuring absolute discretion and precision.
Rates & Pricing My standard casework is billed hourly. However, for specialized or complex matters, guaranteed flat-rate quotes are available. This provides absolute budget certainty so we can agree on the scope and the price before I start.
Rate: $150/HR, Per Investigator
Comprehensive Investigation: $6,000
40 Hours of Premier Investigaitons: Our most intensive level of service for high-stakes matters requiring exhaustive intelligence gathering and priority case management.

Best for: Cases requiring multi day surveillance, weekend coverage, and deep-dive reporting.
Extended Investigation: $3,600
24 Hours of Dedicated Professional Service: A mid-tier engagement designed for broader matters requiring consistent observation to produce documented results.
Investigative Minimum: $1,500
Baseline Engagement: Our standard entry-level retainer for targeted surveillance, subject identification, or specialized general investigations.

Note: This retainer is required to initiate casework and deploy agency resources.
Notice: All investigative services are subject to a signed retainer agreement. To ensure the immediate allocation of specialized agency resources, the initial $1,500 baseline retainer is non-refundable. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, as results are dictated by the facts discovered during the course of the investigation.

Terms of Service & Retainer Policy
Due to the sensitive nature of investigative work and the immediate allocation of high-level resources, specialized equipment, and man-hours:

Non-Refundable Policy: All retainers and flat-fee payments are considered fully earned upon receipt.

Commitment of Resources: Once a retainer is paid, those hours are dedicated exclusively to your case, and we may decline other assignments to ensure your investigation receives priority.

Credit for Future Use: While we do not offer refunds, any unused hours from a retainer remain on file as a credit and may be applied toward future investigative services or polygraph examinations within one calendar year.
